1) Click on this link to go to 'Google Custom Search Page' and click on the blue button 'Create a custom search engine' as shown below:-

2) You will be directed to a page as shown below:-

3) Now, fill up the url of your blog in the box 'sites to search' and select language of your blog from the drop down menu under 'language' and click 'create'.


4) Now, you will see a congratulation message with 3 buttons viz., 'Get Code', 'Public Url' and 'Control Panel' as shown below:-

5) Now, click on 'Control Panel' > 'Look and Feel' - you will be redirected to a page as shown below:-

                   


6) The page shown above allows you to customize the search results according to your choice. As you have done it, click on 'Get Code' in blue as shown in para 4. 

7) Copy and save the code carefully as you have to add this to your blog. 

8) Now, go to Blogger Dashboard and click 'Layout' > Add a Gadget > Html/Java Script and paste the code in the box. Remember to paste the code in the top right or top left box as it looks better.

Now, click 'Save' and it's done.
