All of you must have watched the little icon appearing in the upper left hand corner of the address bar in the blogger. This is the original logo or image of blogger.

This logo appears in all blogs but if you like you are free to replace this logo with a new logo as per your choice to establish an unique identity of your blog.

Creating a new logo for your blog is easy but the toughest part is to convert your logo or favicon into a very small dimension so that it fits into the blogger.

There are ways of creating your own favicon with the help of a 'paint program' and an online tool named 'Iconifier'.

But creating your own favicon using these tools is not very easy for ordinary bloggers.

Today, I am going to show you a very easy way of creating your own unique favicon and uploading it to your blog.

Go to this link

You will find hundreds of great abstract favicons here available for free download and upload it to your blog/website.

Select your own favicon and download it free.

The image will be downloaded in a 'zip' file. While downloading the favicon please select 'PNG'

After downloading open the zip file by double clicking on it. Inside you will find items as shown in the screen shot below :

Now, in each of these folders you will get a different size of the favicon you have downloaded already.

Probably, the smallest one will be found in the first folder market 'Red' which will fit easy to your blog.

1) Now, double click on the first folder to open it.

2) Then, right click on the image and click Edit. Now a window of editing image will open.

3) Click 'File' in the top left hand corner and click 'Save as' to save your favicon. Save it as a 'JPEG' image.

4) Now, go to blogger, log in and click 'Layout' in the dashboard.

5) In the 'layout' page in the top left corner you will find 'Favicon' click 'Edit'.

Now, it's very easy to upload your favicon, already saved by you, to the blogger.

It's done.
